A Word of Welcome to Spiritual Manhood

Welcome to Spiritual Manhood!

You are probably asking yourself what is Spiritual Manhood? That’s a great question! The best answer to that lies in Scripture itself. In Proverbs we are told, “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another” (27:17). That’s at the heart of what this ministry seeks to do. Its aim encourage, uplift, edify and nourish men as it offers timeless biblical truth to men living in an uncertain age.

The truth is that we live in a highly subjective age. It’s one where objective truth is often left by the wayside, as the foundational is abandoned for the relative. In God’s Word though we find that this isn’t the way it’s meant to be. We are given the example of Christ, that perfect life, for us to imitate (Eph. 5:1-2; 1 Jn 2:6), the teachings of Scripture (2 Tim. 3:16-17), and an unchanging God (Num. 23:19; Mal. 3:6; Heb. 13:8) which show us what God intends and desires. Now, we aren’t going to be perfect in that walk. We are going to stumble and falter in our steps. Mistakes will be made. That’s just who we are this side of Heaven.

Yet, together we can do better and be better as we seek to be men of God, men after God’s own heart. This means though coming together in a spirit of love, compassion and unity to help one another become the husband, father, brother, son, friend, leader and servant that God intends them to be. This is what Spiritual Manhood seeks to foster as it seeks to help create warriors for the Word.

Ultimately there is only one true transformative power in our lives and our walks, the Spirit of God, who helps us grow in His Word and in our faith. The intention of Spiritual Manhood is then to be a vessel of the Spirit as we journey and explore together.

Through the coming weeks, months, and, God willing, years, it is my sincere and earnest hope that this site and this ministry will be a blessing to you. I look forward to embarking on this voyage of the Spirit with you, as we grow together in light and in love.

God bless,

Wyatt McIntyre
